The biggest user is alsa-utils and I've been meaning for a long time
to remove those tools from the default build.

Not sure that's the biggest obstacle: we already document that proper
LSB support means adding other layers.

I'd actually be quite pleased with this: there can be a proper
meta-lsb which depends on meta-qt4 meta-oe etc and actually tries hard
to actually be LSB compliant.
