You asked about version number suggestions and I suggested to use a
date based version number, using Ubuntu as example, if the intent is
to have a time based release.

I don't understand what Canonical's process has to do with version numbers?

I have no idea about their policies and processes. Again, what does
that have to do with the version numbers?


I think that the process discussion is interesting and very
important, everyone in a project must agree on process, otherwise
it's not really possible to cooperate. Let's continue that
discussion!
