exactly, the only thing i've found was some qoriq debug manual which is 
available probably under nda.

ref. manuals for e200/e500mc/e5500/e6500 cores mentions nexus debug/trace 
technology, but not all
soc manuals mentions nexus in debug section (for example P2020 - e500mc, do not 
even mention it once).
i was able to google different version for p2020 and title of rev0 is 
"MPC8526E.book".
e300rm do not mention nexus at all.

historically main force behind bdm and nexus was/is motorola/nxp, maybe they 
have something in common.

just to mention videocore on rpi is also nexus based, not sure whether 
jtag+nexus only,
or cjtag+nexus, so effort for implementing nexus is worth (i hope) :)
