Yeah, the feedback I got from a Freescale FAE when I asked a long time ago was "we pretty much have to expose all the internals of the CPU because of how the debug scan chain works there, so it's only strictly licensed to our partners". I was hoping maybe something had changed, but alas. :-) Maybe I can find a used BDI2000 somewhere for cheap.
