Hi Daniel,
I didn't change anything in the apps. I just compiled in release mode and
started testing. (windows xp, Visual Studio 7.1) vsync was accidentally on,
so I'll test again tonight with it off. Unfortunately, the OBJ error is much
more serious than that. I'll try narrowing down the problem, but it only
seems to happen with objects exported from Max. Will let you know as soon as
I have more info.

Cheers

E.

Hi Eric

Have you change anything in the applications? My results remain the
same, although I turned "sync to vblank" of in the garphics card
driver menu. (Nvidia GForce 6200 TurboCache)

I will try the optimisations proposed by Matthias in the next days.

I get Warinings like : "Invalid d entry in ./tie.mtl" when loading the
obj files with OpenSG, but they work fine nevertheless. You might try
deleting the d entries, as they are surplus anyway (all set to 1).

I'm very interested in the results you achieved with the bigger models.

Cheers,
Daniel.

P.S.: Which Operating System do you use?
