Hi Dirk (and others)
I got the new version from cvs but unfortunateley I still got the
same problem. I just ignore the extension check now and force the
prog to use 3D Textures anyway and it works. It's fine for me so far
since I don't exect anyone to run our program on an very old grahics
card. Apple just seems to have a strange way sometimes ...

For some reason Apple decided to ditch the extension, as the
