Just so its clear, that work involves:
* Any PSARC efforts (if any interfaces, including CLI options,
protocols, or file formats, have changed, then an update fasttrack is
probably required)
* Get code reviews done (I think you need to have input from someone
in Don Cragun's group here)
* Get testing done. There may be compliance tests for POSIX that
need to be done. Again, Don can probably help you find someone who can
identify what those tests are, and either enable you to run them or have
someone run them for you.
* Submit a request-sponsor to find someone willing to help with the
final RTI
None of this is terribly difficult, *IF* there is not any technically
controversial bits. I'm not sure that "IF" clause holds in your case
though... I know that part of the problem is compatibility is with Sun
products (which may or may not be POSIX compatible by default... that's
actually irrelevant). I'm not interested in hearing the details, so
don't bother responding to me directly. But I don't want you to feel
like we've left you with no idea how to proceed.
