Actually, one other thought... perhaps we could include 2 compilers, 11 
and 12+ as we release new developer edition versions. So, that the 
current CBE can be included along with the newest version of SunStudio 
for application compilation, which is why I believe we deliver these. 
The major issues are: 1) do we have enough space on the DVD to include 
both and 2) the disk space required for the installation with additional 
tools. Even just putting the CBE on the DVD we deliver without 
necessarily automatically installing it would make it easier for users 
to get it if they want.

The unfortunate thing about this is that the original release of 
developer edition included the CBE we use to build OpenSolaris, and now 
we are introducing a new version that won't. This will be unexpected to 
our consumers.
