I'd be hesitant to use ad-hoc sources of information on the Internet unless I 
knew that information came from an authoritative source, such as from the 
engineer that worked on the product, or from someone that is a proven expert in 
the field. That presents a catch-22, because in order for me to judge the 
quality/correctness/scalability/gotchas of the content, I have to be familiar 
with the topic already.

That is to say, there are a lot of sources of advice on the subject of Solaris 
out there, but very few of those sources present correct/clean/scalable 
solutions to tasks and/or problems.
