1. The "only" issue I have running os 08.05 at home is with my printer (HP 1012). Every time I need to print something, I always boot up my SuSE machine. Some times it worked find, but sooner or later, it always screwed up. Very sad. I am wondering what's everyone's experience in printing from an OpenSolaris machine? Or perhaps I should try a different printer? 2. With regard to running OpenSolaris on laptops, I have found out that, at least with core2duo-based laptops, installing it onto a USB device (either HD or flash) may provide a very good alternative. I will discuss this in a separate thread. This message posted from opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ opensolaris-discuss mailing list [email protected]
