This depends on the AP in question, the WNDR3800 family (5 or so years old at
this point) supports 4096 VLANS, it's a config option that needs to be set. I'd
bet thta just about anything nowdays supports 4096 VLANS.

vlan, or a number of tagged vlans, but not both simultaneously.
I'll argue that doing both is a bad idea in any case (just from the confusion
point of view :-)
