What do you mean by separate repo ? There are still in separate dirs.

I've posted comments on ticket 410 about this [2].
Once we will have decided which optimizations we use for each distro, we
will just have to write it in the repository manager I'm currently
writting, which include automatic build features.
(In case you think about it ;-) , I don't want to use SuSe build service
as SuSe is not part of OCG and I can not imagine depending on them for
such a critical service).

I think this is the right way : yume must know about our repositories.
