Each "entry" in the .repo file is a repository, so to get around the
issue, I suggest having something like [oscar-i386[ and
[oscar-noarch] repositories.

1) The source code for the entire build service is available and you
can even install this on your own server. Even if Novell is to go
belly up, you could continue to use your own instance of the build
service.

2) There is a vmware appliance for the build service which I am hosting:

http://www.vmware.com/vmtn/appliances/directory/924

Perhaps we could get a vmware instance up and running and see how it works

3) The build service has been getting quite a bit of traction as of
late, and more 2nd party and major open source projects are starting
to rely on its service -- I doubt it would just shut down for no
reason, and we should be safe because of 1)

4) Why not invite Novell to have a closer collaboration? I have
started on this in the past and am willing to continue with this.
AFAIK Novell does not have their own clustering solution and since we
support openSUSE and SLES, it is a good way to collaborate. Also, it
would be a good showcase for the buildservice if OSCAR end up using
it. Would you feel more comfortable if we have an official
partnership with Novell?

Cheers,

Bernard
