I've only tested targetting the iOS simulator and OS X at the moment so I can't comment on how/if it affects the device build. But going through them again I believe all changes are safe and should only affect the iOS builds. Both OS X and iOS work for me from the same set of cmakes files (which is pretty cool in itself :-).
