Any chance, you can take look on this again in your next submission round?
In terms of infrastructure it seemed much cleaner than the other shadow
mapping attempts, since it easily adapted to various uses cases (e.g.
deferred shading)

I checked your submission and I'm wondering if you uploaded the
correct file... There is no setUseTexGen for example, and after
comparing the code it matches the content of your last submission...
