I'll have a look if I have someting to edit/generate normals. maybe 3ds max can give a good result ...

I imagine that any modeling software should have a tool to generate/smooth normals. 3DS Max, Blender, Maya, ... It's pretty basic functionality. In Creator it's called "Calculate Shading", but it may be called something else in other modeling software.
