Well, that was the only OSG reference that I could find. However I did try:

Code:

stateset->setMode(GL_DEPTH_TEST, GL_ALWAYS);



that seemed to work the same.

Anyway Here is a picture of the results.

As you can see, I still see that hole and now the backside of my grid that was 
hidden before.
