What do you mean by SDK?
As I said I use OIS (http://sourceforge.net/projects/wgois/)

The accumulated values simply require you to calculate the delta yourself by hold the current and the last-frame values. Also you might need to scale the delta according to your frame time.

hth,
Sebastian
Thank you Sebastian. So, what effect happens with the accumulated values
instead of relative? Is moving the SpaceMouse smooth or jumpy? I presume you
are accessing the SpaceMouse through the SDK? I guess I am trying to evaluate
my options considering the short period of time. If this is not so good of an
option, I may take a look at other options.

I am still trying to get the SDK. Without the SDK and using other applications, I have been
experimenting. It appears the SDK will allow me to "register" my application, add Custom
Functions (keyboard macros), assign functions to buttons, and get access to the 6DoF "mouse".
Some of these seem like they would be quite easy to do and implement. It would seem the most difficult
thing might be getting the panning, zooming, rotate, tilt, & roll integrated smoothly.

Do the other options use the SDK? How smoother is the motion created by
movements?
