Are you using the 3DConnexion drivers/SDK? This is actually a driver
setting, the "mouse" itself is a 6DOF joystick and reports only deflections
from the neutral position. I believe that there is a checkbox somewhere to
set it either to absolute or relative mode.
The driver I did for VRPN reports the normalized raw values but you can
emulate a 6DOF tracker device using the VRPN vrpn_Tracker_AnalogFly driver.
BTW, re OIS - we have been happy to get rid of it for another project using
OGRE engine, personally if I could avoid it, I would.
