Hi Robert, I am really sorry to insist so heavily, but please take a quick look at https://github.com/openscenegraph/OpenSceneGraph/issues/209.
I am ready to make the changes, test them and submit a PR but need some directions. OpenThread has been outputting some unwanted debugging information since at least the 3.5.5 release and we would really like to see them go away in 3.5.6.
