Actually Doug, I think That is The Story and I have surely told it on multiple occasions. And truthfully I think the story is told every time we Open Space. Sometimes it is not so obvious, but always present to some degree or another, depending on the life conditions of the group that is gathered. Actually this is just another way of pointing out that what really happens in Open Space is Life, pure and simple. But it is life lived more fully and intentionally with all the good parts and the painful ones. And critical to all of this is the eternal Grief Work Process. It is the way life moves on -- and not surprisingly it shows up in Open Space, whenever life moves. Which it often does.
