You seem to be backing away from your earlier assertion that she was a good choice politically. I think she was a great choice in terms of politics. McCain was suffering from an extreme enthusiasm deficit. I live in Arizona and yet I can't spot a single McCain bumper sticker in the parking lot of my local supermarket. The are a fair number of Obama ones and even a few Hillary stickers still on cars. I was struck by this Fridayso I asked people from all over town at a birthday party and only one who had seen a McCain sticker works at the capitol and sees the cars of republican politicians, their staff and lobbyists. I'm sure McCain has his supporters but the only one who care enough to put a sticker on their car are tho ones who a are literally professional republicans. I wouldn't be surprised to see some McCain/Palin stickers in the next few days, though. The values voters/religious nuts love her. The allegations that she claimed her daughter's baby as her own will make them love her more. There are also a few Vagina Americans who will support McCain because identity trumps any issue for them. -- A young idea is a beautiful and a fragile thing. Attack people, not ideas. _______________________________________________ OSX-Nutters mailing list | [email protected] http://lists.tit-wank.com/mailman/listinfo/osx-nutters List hosted at http://cat5.org/
