You seem to be backing away from your earlier assertion that she was a  
good choice politically. I think she was a great choice in terms of  
politics. McCain was suffering from an extreme enthusiasm deficit. I  
live in Arizona and yet I can't spot a single McCain bumper sticker in  
the parking lot of my local supermarket. The are a fair number of  
Obama ones and even a few Hillary stickers still on cars. I was struck  
by this Fridayso I asked people  from all over town at a birthday  
party and only one who had seen a McCain sticker works at the capitol  
and sees the cars of  republican politicians, their staff and   
lobbyists.

I'm sure McCain has his  supporters but the only one who care enough  
to put a sticker on their car are tho ones who a are literally  
professional republicans.

I wouldn't be surprised to see some McCain/Palin stickers in the next  
few days, though. The values voters/religious nuts love her. The  
allegations that she claimed her daughter's baby as her own will make  
them love her more. There are also a few Vagina Americans who will  
support McCain because identity  trumps any issue for them.
