Hi Ron,
I amt curious about the conversation you had with your new pt.
Did he mention anything he thought was useful or helpful during his rehab stay?

Subject: [OTlist] Shoulder Arc

I evaluated a new patient today, actually the husband of a former
patient. He was just d/c from rehab. During the eval, he talked a
little about his rehab. He stated that some of what he did was a
"waste of time". He then provided two examples of what he considered
wasting his time:

1. The shoulder arc

2. Picking up cones

Granted, the above could have been either with a PT or OT, but I
suspect it was the rehab's OT doing the above 'exercises'.

Ron
