This Strawberry+Padre does not use the official Perl::Dist
distribution construction toolkit used to create Strawberry. So if you
already have a working Strawberry and are happy to install Padre via
CPAN I would recommend staying with that.

I see this installer as approximating a third-party beta of Strawberry
Professional, which will have many of the same extra add-ons (Padre,
Moose, et al) as this does.

That is being held back in part because the module install order right
now needs to be manual (which sucks). Toolchain improvements shipped
with 5.14 will hopefully let us move back towards a more automated
dependency resolution.

So I see this installer is providing a valuable stand in for
Strawberry Professional so that we can hand an installer to newbies
that won't be as imposing as the half hour to hour long cpan install
process for Padre.

I continue to recommend that you always have only one first class
install of Perl on your system, excluding Portable versions.
