Hej Gabro!

I am impress of the speed!! Much better!

First a check that I have understood:

Padre on Strawberry contains Strawberry Perl.
The installation is intended for a “new” or initial installation of Perl
(including Padre).
It is not intended to be used for updating.

(I installed Padre on Strawberry. It worked fine. Cpanplus and ppm is
missing on the top level compared to my “old” installation of Strawberry
Perl using
http://strawberry-perl.googlecode.com/files/strawberry-perl-5.12.3.0.msi).

You can also install Padre from CPAN. This can be used to add or update
Padre to a Perl installation.

My proposal:

On the down load page indicate both possibilities.
Make two headlines under Windows: “Installation of Strawberry Perl with
Padre” and “Add or update Padre from CPAN”

If I remember correctly there was previous in the down load page an
instruction on how to install or upgrade Padre using cpan. This instruction
could be used.

This: "Padre on Strawberry" package includes the perl compiler/interpreter,
the additions Strawberry Perl provides and hundreds of additional modules
from CPAN. “ could be move to the top, before the list.

Bo,

please take a look at the main download page of Padre and let us know
if the explanation is clearer now?

http://padre.perlide.org/download.html

How could we make it clearer?

Gabor
