Almost. There are two cases: 1) we know something you don't (a OS
update, patch, new hardware product, new developer program, new advertising
campaign, etc.) or 2) there's nothing to say.
In case 1, we won't say anything because we can't comment on stuff that
hasn't been officially announced. In case 2, we won't say anything because
there's nothing to say.
All I was doing was pointing out that case 1 exists. And trying to be
careful to do so without saying which case is actually true. ...lawyers...

Well, I looked back through this thread any I found only one other post
from a 3Com person, Jesse Donaldson, who says why the error occurs. Did I
miss something? Specifics would really help here.
