Thanks to the list member that helped .. 

And sorry if I started a new off topic thread.

Knowing about the FAQ and such would be helpful,
although I would not have solved my problem.

On one of the other lists I'm on closes each
submitted message with a simple trailer, with
things like list instructions and the URL of
where to get the archives, the FAQ etc.

Just a thought.
