NDA or not, the code is still 3Com property.  If they haven't given 
it to you, and you haven't bought it, you have no right to it.  I'm 
distressed that a CS instructor would have such a cavalier attitude 
about intellectual property.  Sign or don't sign, I don't care, but 
don't accept code that has been stolen even if you didn't do the 
stealing.

Rubbish.  What's the difference between that and "we're k00l hackerz 
man, laws don't apply to us"?  If I accept stealing 3Com code, how 
can I object to someone stealing my own product?

Is this really some moralistic discussion?  Starting to sound like a 
bunch of whining from people who don't want to spring for a stamp.
