Frist App, where(what) is BDWM?

I am trying to debug my first palm app(see Palm OS tutorial pg. 37)

I've pretty much followed the entire procedure(I think) I've gotten console
mode up etc.

When I click OK to confrim console mode to the debugger I get the following
message:

        The de-bug helper app could not be found
        The registry key 'BDWM' is not defined

What do I need to do to get around this?
