BTW the message bug has been fixed in the latest linker plugin, which is
part of the Palm OS 3.5 SDK. If you download and install it, it will plug
right into your CW installation.
In this case it sounds like the 'shortcut dot dot 2' wasn't recognized
correctly by the device, or the serial port is somehow busy. Make sure that
Hotsync is completely off, make sure that the serial port of the device is
free (a soft reset will fix that), and try entering the 'shortcut dot dot 2'
in the Find dialog. If entered correctly the line will disappear, and there
should be no up-arrow at the lower right. Also you may want to check that
the debugger is actually targeting the correct COM port (in the Palm
Connection Settings).
