There is a bug in CodeWarrior which has been fixed in the latest version.
To debug your app, do the following in CodeWarrior:
1) Make sure you have closed Constructor.
2) Launch POSE
3) Select Project | Remove Object Code
3) Select Project | Reset project entry paths
4) (If it isn't already enabled) Select Project | Enable Debugger
5) Select Project | Debug
If you get the message about BDWM, you will have to close POSE and CW, then
start over.
However, the best thing to do is to update your software. Here is a copy of
a message from David Fedor at Palm about this:
Just posted in the 3.5 software seeding area of the Pavilion
(http://www.palm.com/devzone/pavilion.html) is a newer set of the
Windows-based tools for CodeWarrior.
This includes two important items in particular:
- a newer Constructor which can edit color, grayscale and black&white
images
- a newer linker which fixes the "BDWM" problem
It includes several other items which should closely (if not precisely)
reflect the final 3.5 SDK, including the 3.5 header files.
Newer versions of the Unix and Mac SDKs, as well as the other Windows
components, can be expected to be posted during the week of 3/6/2000 (i.e.
next week).
