I completely agree with your comments.  I dont even think the current PalmOS + 
Bluetooth could even exist in the same machine today
for the reasons of processing power.  I personally beleive that in a few years its all 
going to be about rendering on the organizer
and that there might not even be any apps or information on a handheld @ all (as crazy 
as it may seem).  You will have this
mysterious OS thats configured for your needs and maybe speech or a request gets your 
applications or even automatically renders
what you wanted, whether it be sounds, images, a game, etc.

There wont even be such a thing as an organizer anymore.
