Hello Sam,

You should also make sure that HotSync is off (meaning also that it is not
running in the background), make sure the serial port is free (no
ActiveSync, CE Services, etc.), make sure the debugger Palm Connection
Settings are pointing to the correct COM port, and check that 'shortcut dot
dot 2' is actually 'shortcut tap tap 2' - this means it appears as 'shortcut
. 2' on the device. A good way to check that the device is ready is to enter
it on the Find dialog - if entered right, the whole line will disappear, and
there should not be an up-arrow at the lower right.

Also, in some instances, the device serial port may be busy. A soft-reset
(insert paper clip) will usually clear this up.

Hope this helps.

It doesn't seem to be doing anything. And when I run the debugger it brings
up the "Failed to connect to remote" error everytime. Is there some special
place i have to enter this?
