But we are. OS 3.5.1 (still not available in the DevZone). It is lacking
some programs previously included in the ROM, and has at least one
completely new feature (power off recogntion of the "up" arrow key).
Now you may be right ... these may really be minor issues. But we
have no way of knowing that now, do we? And what of the odd bit
of code that was just rewritten to "tighten things up"? ANYTHING
could potentially change the behavior of an application under a
new OS version.
Odds are that most things will be fine.
But it would've been nice to have had the chance to find out.
