Trying to be the peacemaker here in an effort to kill this thread...

Mike, I went through this install business last week with varying degrees of success 
(most of my problems, I think, were due to the fact that setup.exe was apparently 
broken for some time last week), so I sympathize with you.

For my internal development group, I put together a web page (complete with screen 
shots) on our intranet describing the installation instructions.  I've copied an 
"un-Texas Instruments-ized" version of that page to my personal web site at 
http://www.ringthis.com/enginerd/palm/prctools_install/.  John, if you think this is 
useful, maybe we can work together to get this level of install on the main page.  To 
those of us that are new, it helps to have this stuff spoonfed sometimes.
