It depends how you handle them. If there is no advantage, and a sync takes half an hour, why do it? (I would tend to look at SD cards etc, BTW, if I really, really had to do this - as you can get the info on there far faster) My point is not that you **never** need to store all that info, but that occasions where it is **necessary** are rarer than people think.
