OK Andrew

Your basically correct on Sonnet, etc

But as stated by Leon, and I back this up, I do not notice any loss of
response time in opening and switching between programs, and back &
forward caching pages in IE5.
using 9.2.1 as compared to my 9.1. In fact I notice that in scrolling,
9.2.1 seems a tad faster.
So my bottom line is that my Sonnet Crescendo G3 400/1mb /built-in L2
cache does not appear to have been dregraded with the OS9.2.1 upgrade.

Of course, these are only my personal observations based on my specific
machine
