Short answer: You're hosed.
Long answer: The software install and restore CDs *usually* only let you install on the machine they shipped with. Someone on the G-List mentioned that they were able to get one to work on another model, but I've never seen it work before. Also, the software you got is technically illegal -- it's OEM, so it's only supposed to go with the machine it shipped with. If the person you bought from positioned it as being a full version of OS9, that's fraud. Even if they didn't, they're technically not supposed to sell the discs. (Disclaimer: IANAL, and I could be wrong about the above -- anyone refute/confirm?) Sorry to be a bearer of bad tidings.... Lincoln > I went on eBay, and bought what was supposed to be OS9.
