I have OS 9.1 running on a 7200/90. AFAIK OS 9.1 will work on any PowerMac. Most of the machines I've installed it on are lower end (for lack of something later). It runs okay on the 7200 and 7500s I've installed it on (only one of the three 7500s has a G3). On a 6100 or PB5300 it's pokey and memory is somewhat limited. > >In my experience, it's usually not advisable to upgrade the OS too >far beyond what was current >when the machine shipped. I've updated the OS on most of my machines to the latest they can run. While some may be slow and memory may be limited they all run okay. No OS related crashes and no tricks to make them run. -- Clark Martin Redwood City, CA, USA Macintosh / Internet Consulting [EMAIL PROTECTED] "I'm a designated driver on the Information Super Highway" -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
