Happy Memorial Day to all. A question for anyone: I am too cheap to go to ISDN or DSL for a modem and so I am stuck with my 56K [recently obtained through a great deal with Jag (thanks Jag!)] I was perusing an apple site and saw a modem accelerator download called Mac ARA Modem Magic which makes lofty claims about speed, ect. Anyone have opinions about modem accelerators? Do they really work or do they just cause more problems? I have 7300/180 160 megs and 8.6. Thanks and happy barbecueing.
