Greetings,

I have an "issue" which can be resolved with a work-around, but maybe
someone here has a real solution.

I use a PowerMac 9500 running OS 9.1 with two video cards and two
monitors. When I first start-up the machine it almost invariable fails
to speak to the monitors. If I do a "3-finger salute" and restart after
a minute or two, it will invariable start and use both monitors as intended.

One video card is the original (as far as I know) and one is the iX Micro
(?) which OWC offers for $40 (less when I got it). This machine also has
OS X and under OS X the video cards and monitors are active without fail.
The start-up drive is an internal IDE attached via a PCI-IDE card which
idenitifies itself as a SCSI device.

Any ideas?
