Hi, Terry. Sorry for the bad experience. I am using 9.1, but I don't see what difference that could make. ARA Modem Magic includes about as many individual modem scripts as come with the Mac operating system: about sixty. You can access the new scripts by going to the "Modem" control panel and selecting your modem from the second window, the one near the middle of the window. There may be more than one script that will work with your modem, and ARA encourages experimenting. All your old modem scripts are still intact. The ARA modem scripts folder has been renamed "modem scripts" so that it will work with the control panel. After installing ARA, The original scripts can now be found in "Extensions Disabled" in folders renamed "Modem Scripts (old).1" etc.. Hope this helps.
