Hi Nick,
In the File Sharing CP it reads, "As file sharing activity increases
the computer will slow down" (paraphrased)
so as you say HD size (OS size too?) probably applies to initiating the sharing too.

Have you selected the sharing of files and folders ONLY; i.e., not
the sharing of applications as well?
I'm wondering what effect that might have.
