Hi all, A friend with a B&W just called in a panic saying he's trying to boot up but the computer just gives up warning bells and beeps and says it can't locate a system folder???
He had 9.1.1 and I had used an update to take him to 9.2.2 two weeks ago and all was well till now. He mumbled something about. . . having two sets of vector effects, (he uses Illustrator 10 primarily), no scrapbook, etc. He creates incredible cedar signs and there's no one touching his work for 100 miles around. His site is http://warrenlangley.com So I'm on my way over with my OS 9, TechTool Pro3, Disk Warrior, and Norton 6.. . CDs. He just bought the B&W used and it seemed to me that the drive was noisy but it was new to me so. . .? Any advice would be humbly and gratefully accepted. I told him I'd be there in a half hour though so I won't be here long. Thanks for your indulgence. Terry -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
