I have managed to save drives that neither Drive Setup nor FWB's HDToolkit could mount by formatting them under MS-DOS. SCSI drives like yours can be mounted to a PC w/ ISA or PCI SCSI card like Adaptec's 2906. Get BIOS to recognize it automatically or manually. If you succeed in formatting the drive chances are excellent Drive Setup can initialize it. Drives that fail DOS formatting are destined to be paper weights.
