Okay... It can be done, but unless one is really fortunate, the cost of 
those adapters may easily exceed the cost of the card that was designed 
to support the monitor.

And, FWIW, it was an 8/1600 card that I used... Ken had the 30/1600. 
Both were plug and play.

As always, there are multiple ways to get the same result.
