Look for sync their adaptor (Mac 15 pin -to- Mac 15 pin--made for
Supermac monitors with newer Mac System hardware)--you can
sync-on-green as I recall. With it, also try setting resolution to
either 1024 X 768 or 1152 X 870. Your viewing field should
automatically spread out near the corners--if not, tweak your V -size
and H -sizes.

This little unit will set you back about 40 bucks, but it is worth
its weight in gold.
