Dunno. *Darwin* does run on x86, but I doubt Jaguar would (that basically
undermines their core market).

If Apple went x86, I see no advantage to buying a Macintosh. Everything else
about a Mac is the same as a modern PC. I might as well go buy a clone. (My
irritation with the antiquated x86 architecture, I'll save for a later rant.)
