True. However, you can get a cheap PCI video card with VGA connector for
about $10 and then you will also have the benefit of 2 monitor capability
and xtra VRAM.
The specific card I have in mind is the Matrox Millenium II 4mb. I've
purchased several of these off ebay, flashed the BIOS with the program
downloaded from Matrox web site (along with the drivers), and use them in
various PCI Macs. I've only had one of these cards go bad, but that seemed
to have something to do with a lightning strike.
