Quite true... I've had a whole series of 'em (one parallel, which was sold to get a SCSI, another SCSI added, and a USB - the SCSI and USB are still going strong) that have behaved admirably... Yes, I'm moving things off of them to go onto CD, but it's not because of the media. The media has survived many OSes (Win 3.1/95/98, NT4/XP, OS/2, and OS 8.)
